General Conditions

Age should be less than 65 years as at the closing date of applications. Strong of computer literacy on spreadsheet, word processing, making presentations, internet and email is necessary. Proficiency- in English Language is required with fluency in Sinhala and / or Tamil languageis most Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral) and negotiation / consultation skills. The initial contract will be for one year of which first six months will be on at the probation. The contract period is renewable annually subject to the satisfactory in the performance demonstrated at formal of performance appraisal by the supervising Officers.
Employees are entitled for cost of living allowance, EPF and ETF PAYE tax or any other applicable taxes are payable by the project staff based on prevailing rates. Candidates who are already in the public service should send their applications through their head of the department/CEO of the agency who should indicate that the candidate could be released in the event of being selected to the assignment.

TNA rejects rumors on UN resolution

The Tamil National Alliance has rejected the rumors that have been appearing in the public media stating that the TNA, Government of Sri Lanka and the United States have come to an agreement with regard to the implementation of the UN resolution 30/1, especially with regard to the accountability processes. Issuing a statement, the TNA said, “the Tamil National Alliance has always held the position that the resolution must be implemented both in letter and spirit and there has been no change in this position. We will remain committed and take all necessary steps to ensure that the resolution is implemented fully in the future. The TNA wishes to urge all Sri Lankans not to get carried away by these rumors and to remain united in restoring justice and equality among all citizens and to work towards reconciliation and building a united undivided Sri Lanka.”
